My kid got this from a relative for his birthday. It was a huge disappointment. The starlight projection is faint and unreadable. The Meteor Maker is just a weak flashlight with a cut out of a shooting star. The construction of the device feels flimsy and cheap.

I agree with the first reviewer. My daughter got this for Christmas and it is really junky. Putting it on a nightstand is actually too far away to project on her ceiling. The meteor detector did not work and the light that can supposedly let you keep watching all night long burned out the first night.
