DESCRIPTION
This innovative medieval siege-engine kit lets kids build a working single-lever siege tower - a weapon that changed the course of many a kingdom!- Siege Tower features a working 5-inch catapult on top for lobbing soft modeling clay (included), plus a drawbridge and ladders.
- Uses only wood, rope and leather.
- Pieces are joined by wooden dowels, not screws or nails.
- All pieces are pre-cut and drilled, requiring only white glue to assemble.
- No elastic, rubber, motor or batteries are used to create the movement of the siege tower's swing arm.
- Instructions are detailed and complete with educational notes.
- Kit takes an hour or two to complete.
- When assembled, siege tower is 15 x 6 x 7 inches.
- Great for imaginative play (fits 1/18 scale figures).
- Includes safety instructions - children are recommended to use only under adult supervision.
