We received our tadpoles in March of 2007. One died about a month later and the other still has not turned into a frog. Its been almost 10months. It also took about three months for the Tadpoles to even come. The general idea is good, but I think something is wrong genetically with the frogs. Overall its a disappointing product.

My nieces gave me a Planet Frog for my birthday in December 2008 because I told them I wanted something fun for my birthday . Late January 2009,Kermit and Ms. Piggy arrived. Ms. Piggy was large,Kermit was small and laid sideways. Miss Piggy turned into a frog about three months later. It took her awhile to eat the crickets (took me awhite to get use to them). Kermit stayed a tadpole until May,and he turned into a frog who no longer swam on his side. He started eating crickets immediately. The week before he finally turned into a frog,I realized I was very short on tadpole food. I emailed Uncle Miltons, and they immediately mailed me some more tadpole food. This would be an excellent project for a science teacher. They are very easy to care for (once you get use to the crickets).

MY 9 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER GOT THE PLANET FROG FOR CHRISTMAS AND CRIED SHE WAS SO HAPPY. IT HAS GIVEN HER A GREAT RESPECT FOR HER RESPONSIBILITIES. SHE LOVES HER FROGS. IT IS SO EASY TO CLEAN AND TAKE CARE OF.

I placed this in my classroom, and my students and I were fascinated by the tadpoles. The tank was very light, and easy to transport back and forth from home to school. It was easy for my students to watch the tadpoles change, and we all became far more attached to the frogs than I imagined possible. Great buy!

I recently purchased this item for my nephews, but had no idea what I was getting myself into! The tadpole I received and the water hole the habitat provided didn't seem large enough or deep enough. It was also harder to clean than I thought. On top of that,I went to a pet store after the tadpole turned into a frog, and asked a few questions about how to take care of the frog. I had to buy crickets for it,and once again the habitat was WAY too small for the animal. I also learned that in Arkansas,it could be illegal to release this species into the wild! I finally broke down and bought my nephews a proper aquarium for the frog... Don't buy this item unless you're prepared to take it further- consider the PET you will be taking into your home first!

I do agree that this item is rather intertaining and fun. But my tadpole is still a tadpole after about 6 months. I am rather disappointed. Also,my food supply is running out as well. I have one more pellet to be exact. I am VERY dissapointed that i could not have a pet in my room. I took ALL the proper care, and it got me nowhere. I was also VERY VERY excited and eager to get Planet Frog in the first place, and now i just have a bomb dropped on me. I was wondering if i could just feed him fish food. But this thing doesnt even have a WEBSITE to GET INFORMATION FROM! rn

Frog Planet was purchased for my nephew, however I became the primary caregiver of the frogs. The two frogs, named Frick and Frack, now live in a 30 gallon tank with a waterfall, petrified rock caves, live plants, heat lamps and an ample supply of crickets and meal worms. They require commitment, like any other pet.

This was a horrible! The tadpols had died,in less than a day? It was a total wase of money. Don't buy this kit because all you are going to find are 1 to 2 dead tadpoles!

Well For those of you that are dissapointed, maybe You should research how long it takes for tadpoles to grow. And the food thing. When you got the package there should be a paper in it that gives you an order from to order more food. Hope that Helps! I should have sea monleys delevered on tuesday/ :DD
