The Perplexus Original houses 100 ingeniously challenging barriers along the expansive maze contained within its clear plastic sphere exterior. Users of the Perplexus will have to carefully rotate and twist the puzzle ball as they attempt to guide the marble safely through each cleverly situated barrier. While some obstacles may seem simple at first, they quickly progress to a higher level of difficulty as the small metal marble makes its way through the tight rope, swing arm, and super spiral situated in the center of the self-contained marble maze. Additional trickery among the many obstacles is provided by seemingly easy barriers that cause users to overcorrect their movements, which leads to the marble falling off its multi-colored plastic path. If the marble falls, then simply start the maze again.
With the ability to choose between three unique starting points, kids can face the challenges of this creative marble maze at their own pace. As a single player puzzle ball, the Perplexus provides superior engagement in an activity reminiscent of classic toys; there are no batteries required, no assembly, and children can pick it up immediately for hours of challenging fun. This marble maze not only brings the strategy of traditional 2D mazing to the next level, but it also offers a kinesthetic activity that builds logical thinking skills, hand eye coordination, and increases an understanding of spatial awareness and physics. Our only precaution is that you avoid using the Perplexus Original before giving it to your son or daughter. It is very likely that you will be hooked by the marble maze’s innocent looking challenges and have to purchase another one for your kids to use.
