Perfume Science - the Art and Science of Making Scents

Sensory exploration always grabs kids' attention, and when you get this Perfume Science Kit involved, there's plenty of learning to go along with the fragrant fun!

Your young perfumier will start their study by learning about the nose-to-brain connection in perceiving aromas, play smell/taste games, and then continue through a history of perfuming and present-day processes. This background leads them to best part: hands-on (and nose-on!) experimentation with the kit's designer-quality scented oils and specialized tools as they design their own custom fragrances!.

As your child pages through the more than 20 experiments and activities in the 32-page Experiment Manual, they'll explore the chemistry and biology of scents, and work with the kit's many contents:

• four basic perfume oils (20 ml each): lemony, woody, flory, musky
• four 'creative' perfume oils (10 ml each): orienta, mentha, mella, tropica
• 'Finalio' perfume finisher (50 ml)
