The 48-piece kit has professionally prepared slides and everything users need to make their own specimen slides. Features GeoVision Precision Optics, glass lenses, die-cast metal body with plastic components and two eyepieces.

Please note that this is a starter microscope for young kids and not a school or classroom quality microscope.

My hristmas. We've had so much fun with it. My kids were amazed looking at feathers,hair,salt,our tap water,bugs,etc. Just today we scooped some water out of our lake and found some living microscopic animals on it. My kids were just thrilled! I would definitely recommend this microscope to others. daughter received this item for C

This microscope was good for my 8 year old. I did not want to get something more expensive for a starter microscope. I just love that she can use it without worrying about her damaging it. I plan on getting her another microscope from DiscoverThis in three years that would have some better optics. This site has a nice range of microscopes for kids to choose from. I am glad she is being inquisitive right now and learning about science.
