HEXBUG Nano Raceway Habitat Set

HEXBUG Nanos, start your engines! The Raceway Habitat Set lets your child design a custom racetrack, then race their HEXBUG Nanos in a furious buzz to the finish.

As your child engineers a variety of racetrack designs, they'll choose where to place the Starting Gates, Ending Gates, and hex cells along their custom track. Specially designed Y-shaped pieces add even more possibilities and stretch your child's creativity as they experiment with different configurations.

Once inside a hex cell, Nanos scurry around, change direction when they encounter a wall, and scurry till they find an orange slide open/closed 'door' that's open -- they even flip themselves over when they take a tumble! The legs don't mechanically move; the motion is caused by vibration which is produced by rapid up/down motion of an internal counterweight, the rotation of which also helps the robot flip right-side-up.

This set includes two rare 'mutation' Nanos in separate storage tubes, plus 28 easy-connect pieces that your child can combine in many different configurations:
