Fun meets function as your HEXBUG Nano collector (current or aspiring) watches their little robots zip around a habitat that they've custom built!
Creativity and resourcefulness come into play as your child experiments with snapping the pieces together in a variety of configurations, and controls where the Nanos may roam by sliding the orange doors open or closed. Then comes the real fun: watching their HEXBUG Nanos scurry around bug-style, change direction when they encounter the habitat's walls, hurry about until they find an open 'door,' then start all over again -- the Nanos even flip themselves over when they take a tumble! There's a scientific secret to the Nano's movement: the legs don't mechanically move; instead, the motion is caused by vibration which is in turn produced by a very rapid up/down motion of an internal counterweight, the rotation of which also helps the robot flip itself right-side-up.
The award-winning HEXBUG Nano Habitat Set includes two rare 'mutation' Nanos in their own storage tubes, plus 10 pieces that are easy for your child to connect in any configuration:
Hexbug Nanos each require one AG13 battery (included). Pieces interconnect with all other HEXBUG Nano habitat sets.
Whether your child already has a collection of these little robotic 'pets' or they'd like to start a set with the two included Nanos, they'll find endless fun as they build habitats and set their menagerie loose.
Ages 3 and up.
