This complete aquatic ecosystem needs no additional chemicals, filters, or aeration.
Change the water only every five or six months using fresh, bottled spring water.
The included 'Living Gravel' acts as the natural filtration system for the aquarium, and does not need to be cleaned.
Snail included with kit acts as the janitor to clean the algae and excess food so you don't have to!

Aquarium measures 4 x 4 inches, and has a black plastic base.

Got one of these for my son - to say he loves it would be an understatement! Though the snail died (they now say the tank doesn\'t need it) it is still great fun to watch the frogs swimming around!
