Live Plants will be shipped to you after the danger of frost passes between March and June depending on your zone. If you order during the season, your order usually ships within 2 weeks, often faster. The included plant stakes, decorative additions and information about this perennial garden will be sent prior.

Plants Included in the Fairy Triad:

Gnomes are known to be attracted to Foxglove. This plant is known as Fairy Fingers, Fairy's Caps, Fairy Weed, Fairy's Thimbles, and Fairy's Gloves. The leaves are thought to release individuals from fairy enchantment.

Lobelia plants are known to attract all types of fairies to the garden.

Eight Azure-blue blooms last only until the sun sets-then a shower of petals ends the day. Tomorrow brings forth newcomers which dance on long arching stems.

The fruit of this plant has been called "Fairy Cheese." Fairies were thought to never eat anything from the ground.

This plant was a symbol of admiration in Victorian times. Carnations are also thought to attract fairy folk.

Fairies collect dew from the tubular flowers to use in making magical brews. They use the brews to give them their powers of invisibility.

This healing herb has always been associated with the magical world. This plant was hung in houses in the middle ages to protect its occupants from evil influences.

If you hear bluebells ringing, take caution as it is often a warning. These plants are considered to be the most powerful of Fairy plants.

Are live plants shipped?
Yes! Jumbo 3 paks are 2.25" x 3" deep, and sold in sets of 3 plants. The plants tops will vary in height by variety, but if they are taller than 6-8" we normally have to cut them back to fit in our boxes. This does not harm the plant in any way, and actually helps to promote a bushier, fuller plant. Our standard "jumbo" pak will be 6 to 12 months old.

When are the plants shipped?
We normally ship as follows based on the recommended planting time for your area:

a. Zone 3,4-Mid May
b. Zone 5-Late April/Early May
c. Zone 6-Mid to Late April
d. Zone 7-Early to Mid April
e. Zone 8-Mid to Late March/Early April
f. Zone 9 and warmer-Mid to Late March
g. Due to the weather in NE Ohio, we are not able to ship before the middle of March. If you book in advance, the preceding dates apply. If you order during the season, your order usually ships within 2 weeks, often faster.
