Note that this product has been updated so plants germinate faster without some of the difficulties in the original kit.

I bouhgt this plant set 6 months ago. The box makes it look easy to grow and fun. Then when you open it up,it gives you a big instruction booklet and informs you that you must put the seeds in the fridge for 3 months to make them think its winter and then if hey sprout you must buy special grow lights for them and you also must water them with distilled water...The seed packet hadmicroscopic seeds in it too. If you do buy this product,save the box and receipt.

This was such a disappointment. I followed the directions to the letter and nothing happened. Carnivorous plants are very difficult to grow from seed,especially indoors and especially in a terrarium. (Mold growth kills the seedlings.)
